Was up at the HS Track today and got in a good workout. Warmed up with a easy 400. Did a semi-fast 800, race pace 800, and finished up with a good 6:05 1500. Cooled down with a easy 400 and some stretches. Have a group run tonight more later.

I am back! Just came in from going for a 3 mile jog with Oliver(Airedale Terrier). The jog was fine except halfway through my calves started to hurt, even though I stretched before I started. Any ideas as to why they are sore?

Just got back form the group run. Went from Auroura N.Y. to union springs N.Y.(do not know the  number of miles.) This is only up so late because of the car ride back here.

Its possible that your calves could be tight and sore because you might be doing too much too soon? I notice that happen to me when I add too much milage to quickly. (If you've been doing this for a while disregard) I battle calf injuries all the time and its always because my body isn't ready for the load and i have to scale it back and slowly build.
